Care Groups are small groups of people who meet in homes on various nights for fellowship, food, prayer and Bible study. We have groups for adults, youth, women and men. We offer different groups so each person/family can find a comfortable place to meet and make new friends in Christ.
As Heartland Church grows larger, it is the Care Groups' responsibility to grow it smaller. By growing smaller we mean providing places where every person can be known by a small group of people. These are the places to find and maintain close relationships with Christian friends as well as grow in Christ. Many people have found their personal savior in the setting of a living room. Countless prayers have been heard and answered in these same living rooms. The Care Groups are an exciting ministry of Heartland Church.
In Care Groups we have walked together through marriage, divorce, child birth, illnesses, pain and death. We have journeyed through life's laughter and tears under the careful hand of Jesus. We have grown in Christ and will continue to do so.
If you study the early Church in the book of Acts, they met together in houses. Care Group host homes become both houses of prayer and little churches. What a special privilege it is to have the God of the universe use your earthly home for His work!
